Shami Payal Hasin: Mohammed Shami has performed strongly in the ICC World Cup 2023, taking 23 wickets in 6 matches and is currently at the forefront of taking most wickets in this mega event. Taking 7 wickets against New Zealand in the semi-finals, Shami made an important contribution in helping India win by 70 runs.
Amidst his recent success on the cricket field, Mohammed Shami recently received a marriage proposal from actress-turned-politician Payal Ghosh, who is all set to become his second wife.
Payal Ghosh proposed marriage to Shami
While proposing Shami from her social media account, Payal Ghosh wrote, “Shami, you improve your English, I am ready to marry you.”
Mohammed Shami and his wife Hasin Jahan have been living apart from each other for a long time. Both of them got married in 2014 while their daughter was born in 2015. But soon the relationship between Shami and Hasin started turning sour and Hasin filed a case of domestic violence against Shami and his family in 2018.
Hasin Jahan commented on Payal Ghosh’s marriage proposal to Shami
Recently, when Haseen Jahan was asked about Payal Ghosh’s marriage proposal to Shami, Jahan said, “These things keep happening with celebrities. This is normal. I don’t want to comment on this.”
Payal Ghosh is a Bollywood actress, who was born in Kolkata in 1992. He completed his schooling from St. Paul’s Mission School while completing his graduation in Political Science from the Scottish Church College.
Payal Ghosh came to Mumbai to work in films. There he met Chandra Shekhar Yeleti, who gave him a role in the film Pranayam. Since then, Payal Ghosh has worked in many films, including films like Varshadhare, Osaraveli, Mr. Rascal and Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi. In 2020, she became the vice president of the women’s unit of Ramdas Athawale’s political party.
Amidst the praise Shami is receiving for his bowling, Haseen Jahan said that she wishes Shami was as good as he was in his personal life on the field.
Hasin said, if he was as good a person as he is a player, we would have lived a good life. My daughter, my husband, and I would have lived a good life if he had been a good person. And it would have been an even greater honor if he had been as good a husband and father as he was a player.
