Mumbai: Mumbai Indians defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad in the match played at their home Wankhede Stadium on Sunday. Mumbai was in dire need of a win in this match as its future to go to the IPL-2023 playoffs depended on it. Mumbai won the match and one of the reasons was Cameron Green’s century. Green’s century is undoubtedly in discussion at this time, but in this match, Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Nitish Reddy also did such a thing that everyone who saw it was surprised.
Hyderabad batted brilliantly in this match and after playing full 20 overs scored a huge score of 200 runs losing five wickets. Mumbai achieved this target by losing two wickets in 18 overs on the basis of Green’s century and captain Rohit Sharma’s half-century and won the match by eight wickets.

Brilliant catch by Reddy
In this match, Mumbai lost its first wicket early. Ishan Kishan was dismissed in the third over. After this Green and Rohit played brilliant innings. Both of them shared a partnership of 128 runs. Meanwhile, Rohit scored his second half-century of this season and he was batting well. However, after the half-century, he could not last long. The reason for this was Reddy’s brilliant catch.
Mayang Dagar hit the first ball of the 14th over on the line of off stump. Rohit tried to play it inside out but the ball took the edge of his bat and started going over Reddy standing on the street. But Reddy here made a great dive to his right and took a wonderful catch. This catch was so spectacular that the entire Hyderabad team including Rohit was also surprised. Reddy jumped almost two feet to take this catch. This catch was almost the same kind of catch that Yuvraj Singh had caught Graeme Smith against South Africa in Champions Trophy-2000.
