The Indian cricket team was expected to win the title of ODI World Cup-2023. However, this team captained by Rohit Sharma missed the final and lost to Australia by six wickets. Indian fans looked quite disappointed after this defeat. Team India reached the finals by winning 10 consecutive matches but remained deprived of the title win. Looking at the kind of play this team had shown in the entire World Cup, it seemed that after 12 years the Cup would be India’s. Team India failed to make this dream come true. Many people are disappointed with this defeat but India’s defeat is being mocked in Pakistan. A Pakistani journalist has taken a jibe at India’s defeat on the pretext of an advertisement by Sachin Tendulkar.
Australia won the title of world champion for the sixth time by defeating India in the final of the ODI World Cup played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad last Sunday. India reached the final of the ODI World Cup for the first time since 2011. It was expected that the team would win, however it could not do so.

During the World Cup, Sachin had said in a video that Team India Cup is ours, bring it home. But after India’s defeat, Pakistani journalist Farid Khan has taunted India’s defeat by tweeting this video. He has written that Sachin Paaji took away the cup which belonged to him. After this he wrote that now you people should survive on a cup of tea as you have been doing for 10 years. India has not won any ICC trophy for 10 years. Team India won the Champions Trophy in 2013 under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, but after that could not win any ICC trophy. Farid has talked about these 10 years.

After this tweet, Farid Khan was trolled by Indian fans. An Indian fan wrote that a 33 year old will give knowledge to a 10 year old. Let us tell you that Pakistan won its first and only ODI World Cup in 1992 under the captaincy of Imran Khan. After this, Pakistan team reached the final of the World Cup in 1999 under the captaincy of Wasim Akram but lost to Australia. Since then, Pakistan team has not played the final even once, whereas in these 20 years from 2003 to 2023, this team had reached the semi-finals only once. In 2011, this team reached the semi-finals, where it lost to India.
