Pochstrum: South Africa defeated West Indies by four wickets in the third ODI on Tuesday. With this, this series of three matches remained equal to 1-1. Batting first in this match, West Indies scored 260 runs. This team was stacked in 48.2 overs only. South Africa achieved this target in 29.3 overs. The hero of his victory was Heinrich Klaasen who scored a stormy century. This batsman played an unbeaten inning of 119 runs and won the team.
Klaasen completed his century in just 54 balls. This century of Klaasen is the fourth fastest century for South Africa in ODIs. In his innings, the batsman faced a total of 61 balls and hit five sixes apart from 15 fours. Apart from him, no other batsman of the team could score even a half-century. Marco Jansen scored an inning of 43 runs in 33 balls and was the second highest scorer of the team. This innings of Klaasen will give relief to his IPL team Sunrisers Hyderabad, who paid Rs 5.25 crore for this player. Earlier, Klaasen has been a part of Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore. He played for RCB in IPL-2022.

South Africa was under pressure
