New Delhi: Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rinku Singh have become stars in IPL 2023. Between the victory and defeat of the teams, the discussion of these two players is in full swing. Many other stars have also shined in this season, but their shine has now started spreading its light at the doorstep of Team India. There is talk of bringing both of them into the Indian team. But, the question is whether it would be right to do so.
There is no doubt that both Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rinku Singh are capable of playing for Team India. Rohit Sharma has called Yashasvi the future of Indian cricket. He has said that this time Yashasvi is different from the last season’s Yashasvi. Now if the captain of Indian cricket says so, then Yashasvi Jaiswal’s ability can be understood.

5 sixes sealed the role of match finisher
Rinku Singh has also shown his potential in IPL 2023. Especially the way he finished the match by hitting 5 sixes in a single over, after that he got the tag of match finisher very well.
Why will the selection of Yashasvi and Rinku be in a hurry?
But, in spite of everything, if these two players enter Team India now, then it may be a bit hasty. Anyway, it is said that lessons should be learned from history. And the history of Indian cricket says that if a player has got the jersey of the country’s cricket team on the basis of IPL, then it has cost him dearly.

These things are not just air. For example, there are names of some players behind this. Varun Chakraborty, who plays for Kolkata Knight Riders, Deepak Chahar, who plays for Chennai Super Kings, are such examples.
Lesson to be learned from the selection of Varun and Deepak
Varun Chakraborty, who made his IPL debut in the year 2019, took 17 wickets in IPL 2020 and repeated that performance in IPL 2021, taking 18 wickets. The result of these two performances was that he made his debut for Team India in 2021 itself. But he could play only 6 matches and could take only 2 wickets in total. Same is the case with Deepak Chahar. He too could not maintain his IPL success in the Indian team.
This happened with these players because after shining in the IPL, they did not get a chance to heat up much in domestic cricket. And, how will you become Kundan i.e. gold until you don’t burn. The same situation should not happen to Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rinku Singh, so it is too early to select them in Team India. It might be better if he warms himself by playing domestic cricket now.
