New Delhi: The country is currently intoxicated with IPL, where the emphasis of the playoffs will now be seen. The thrill will be high. But, meanwhile the news is not good for Team India. There is news that the Indian team management is in tension. The reason for his concern is that the preparations for the WTC final are not going well. And, this is happening not because of any other reason but because of IPL.
The final of the World Test Championship is to be played between India and Australia from June 7 to June 11. This match will be held at the Oval ground in London. According to The Indian Express, Team India management has expressed concern over the preparation of the players regarding this match. The support staff of the team has asked each and every player to check their fitness status. Also wanted to know whether all of them practiced with red ball during IPL or not.

Team management is concerned about the preparation of the players
The Indian team management asked such questions to all the players. He asked the batsmen and especially the bowlers about their workload whether their workload has increased in May. Please tell that before the start of IPL 2023, the team management had given instructions to every player that they do not need to take much load.
The day’s play in the WTC final will be of 90 minutes. The player will have to spend 6 hours on the field. In such a situation, the team management wants all the players to get used to it. However, the answers he got from the players to his questions are not good. On behalf of the players, he was told that he was not getting enough time to prepare for the Test against Australia.
Indians are also troubled by injury
This is not the only reason for the tension of the team management. Apart from this, he has also suffered a setback due to some of his players being out injured. KL Rahul, Jasprit Bumrah, Rishabh Pant are out of WTC final due to injury. Umesh Yadav and Jaydev Unadkat also got injured during IPL. In this, Umesh has regained his fitness while Unadkat is also expected to be fit before the World Test Championship.
Warm-up match canceled if IPL is there!
India’s concern is the fitness and preparation of the players, apart from that no warm-up match has to be played before the WTC final. This happened because many players are not available for him due to playing in IPL.
