New Delhi.Indian team will play 3 ODI series against West Indies next month. For this, the BCCI has announced the 17-member ODI team on Friday. Under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, Team India will clash with the West Indies in the ODI series. The vice-captaincy of the ODI team has been handed over to Hardik Pandya. Sanju Samson, Rituraj Gaikwad have returned to the ODI team, while Mukesh has also been given a chance. Jaydev Unadkat has returned to the ODI team after 10 years.
Team India will play a series of 3 ODIs next month from July 27 to August 1 and this series is very important for India in terms of preparations for the ODI World Cup. Samson played the last ODI for India in November 2022 against New Zealand. After this, now he got a chance in the ODI team.
Gaikwad got the award
On the other hand, Gaikwad, who performed amazingly in IPL, has got the reward. He has also returned. He made his international debut in the ODI against South Africa in October last year, but after that he did not get a chance. Now he has returned.

Unnatkat returns after 10 years
Jaydev Unadkat’s wait of 10 years is over. His last match for India was against the West Indies in 2013. Unadkat made his ODI debut in 2013 itself and that year he played 7 ODIs, scoring 312 runs. Last year, Unadkat also returned to the Test team after 11 years.
