Gill, who scored a brilliant half-century in the fourth T20, was bundled out for just nine runs in the decisive match. In this series, Shubman Gill is not out for the first time on a single digit score. In the India vs West Indies T20 series (IND vs WI T20 Series), Gill was dismissed for a single score for the fourth time and he became the first Indian player (Indan Cricketer) to do so in a T20 series.
Shubman Gill played a fiery inning of 77 runs in 47 balls in the fourth T20 match. He hit five sixes and three fours in this innings. In this innings of Gill, the Indian team got a great start. Indian fans had the same expectations from Gill in the fifth and deciding match. But he failed to do so. Gill landed at the opening and got out LBW off Caribbean bowler Akil Hussain. Gill tries to play a sweep shot off Akeel but misses it. The ball hit Gill’s pad, after which the umpire gave him out.
