    IND vs IRE 1st T20: Jasprit Bumrah is returning to the cricket field after 11 months. Many senior players including regular captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya are out on the tour of Ireland. Bumrah, who has been out of the team for the last 11 months due to injury, is making a comeback in this series. Bumrah is the captain and will write his name in history as soon as he walks out in the first T20 against Ireland. He will become the first Indian T20 captain who will be a fast bowler, before that all the captains (India T20 Captain List) have been batsmen or all-rounders.

    Jasprit Bumrah did not play in the Asia Cup and World Cup last year due to injury. He was rehabbing at the National Cricket Academy for a long time. Bumrah is the captain in the T20 series against Ireland. It will be seen from this series that how ready Bumrah is for big matches.

    Jasprit Bumrah is the 11th captain of Team India in this short format. Earlier, 10 players have captained India in T20 format. 9 out of 10 players were such that they were batsmen while only Hardik Pandya was such that they were all-rounders. Jasprit Bumrah will become the first bowler to take charge of Team India.
