KL Rahul is out of IND vs ENG 3rd Test match. Meanwhile, BCCI has also given a big update regarding his fitness.
KL Rahul Injury Update: Indian wicketkeeper batsman KL Rahul is once again struggling with injury, due to which he has been ruled out of the third Test match between India and England. BCCI itself has announced that Rahul will not play in the Rajkot Test. However, in the meantime the Board has also given the fitness update of KL.
While announcing the squad for the last three Test matches, BCCI had kept KL Rahul and Jadeja in a state of doubt due to their fitness. Jadeja is ready to play in the third Test and was also seen sweating in the nets. But the BCCI medical team has declared KL Rahul’s fitness as not completely fine. However, according to the latest update, he has achieved 90 percent fitness.
A statement issued by the board read, “KL Rahul, whose availability for the remaining three Test matches was dependent on fitness, has been ruled out of the third Test against England in Rajkot. Rahul has reached 90 percent match fitness and is making good progress under the supervision of the BCCI medical team. “He will continue his recovery process at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru to be fully fit for the fourth and fifth Tests.”
