Indore: The Indian team has faced defeat at the hands of Australia at the Holkar Stadium. The kind of game shown by Team India in the first two matches, it seemed that Team India would win the third match in a grand manner. But Australia trapped India in its own trap. The Australian team dominated on the spin-assisted pitch and defeated India by nine wickets. Disappointed with this defeat, former India captain Sunil Gavaskar blamed Ravindra Jadeja for the defeat.
Sunil Gavaskar has highlighted Jadeja’s mistake which he made on the very first day. According to the former captain, that mistake of Jadeja overshadowed India and from there the Indian team had moved towards defeat. Jadeja had dismissed Australian batsman Marnus Labushen on the first day of the match but this ball turned out to be a no ball.

Jadeja’s mistake, Australia’s advantage
Labushen was out but survived due to no ball. After this, he shared a 96-run partnership with opener Usman Khawaja, after which the visiting team scored 197 runs in the first innings and took an 88-run lead over India. This advantage of his was very useful to Australia and the visiting team was able to tighten the screws on India. Gavaskar was doing commentary at that time.
After the match, Gavaskar said, “If you look back at the match, you will find that the moment was very heavy for India. Labushen was out on zero. But after that he shared a partnership of 96 runs while the Indian team was bundled out for 109 runs. I think this was the turning point. I think that no ball was very heavy on India.
