Visakhapatnam: Australia did not allow the Indian cricket team to score big in the second ODI. Team India batted first but the team kept losing wickets continuously and got piled on just 117 runs. None of the Indian batsmen could score a half-century in this match. The batsmen of the team could not stand in front of an experienced Australian bowler. This bowler is Mitchell Starc. Starc bowled brilliantly in this match and took five wickets in his name. Stark gave initial shocks to Team India and then troubled the Indian batsmen in the end as well.
The defense of Team India’s batsmen was so bad that seven of its batsmen could not even reach double figures. Only four batsmen could reach double digits. Virat Kohli scored the maximum 31 runs for Team India. For this he faced 35 balls and hit four fours. Stark has taken five wickets in ODIs against India after eight years. Earlier, he had taken six wickets against India in 2015.

Stark bowled a total of eight overs in this match and took five wickets for 53 runs. He also bowled a maiden over and did not allow three batsmen to even open the account.

With taking five wickets in this match, Stark has equaled his countryman Brett Lee and former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi. He has come equal to these two in the list of players who have taken five or more wickets in ODIs for the most number of times. This is the ninth time when Stark has taken five wickets in ODIs. In this case, he has left behind Lasith Malinga of Sri Lanka. Malinga took five wickets in ODIs eight times. In this case, Waqar Younis of Pakistan and Muttiah Muralitharan of Sri Lanka are at number two. Waqar has taken five wickets in ODIs 13 times and Muralitharan 10 times.
Stark had also troubled India in the first match played in Mumbai. He took three wickets in Mumbai and it included the wickets of Virat Kohli, Suryakumar.
