India vs Australia Day 3 Report: India lost only 3 wickets on the third day and scored 253 runs but still Australia is ahead by 191 runs.

Ahmedabad: After struggling for one run each in three consecutive Tests, the third day in a row in the Ahmedabad Test was brilliant for the batsmen. Unlike the first two days, India took advantage this time. After Australia’s big score of 480 runs in the first innings, Team India scored 289 runs in their first innings, while only 3 wickets have fallen so far. Shubman Gill Continuing his tremendous form, scored a brilliant century, while Virat Kohli scored a half-century for the first time in more than a year.
Compared to the first two days, the spinners started getting some help on the third day and many balls from Nathan Lyon baffled the Indian batsmen. Still the pitch remained good for batting. However, Australia’s tight bowling and tight fielding did not give India a chance to play freely and Australia is still 191 runs behind.
Ahmedabad Test: Complete condition of the third day
The Indian team completely dominated the third day and scored 253 runs losing only 3 wickets. Team India lost one wicket each in all the three sessions. Rohit Sharma was dismissed in the first session, Cheteshwar Pujara’s wicket fell in the second, while Shubman Gill returned after scoring a century in the third.
Shubman Gill scored the second century of his Test career, while this is his first Test century against Australia. Gill completed his century in 194 balls. He was dismissed in the third session after scoring 128 runs (235 balls, 12 fours, 1 six).
Virat Kohli, who has been struggling for a long time, batted strongly in the third session and completed his half-century. Kohli made Test Fifty for the first time after January 2022. This is the 29th Fifty of his career. Kohli returned unbeaten after scoring 59 runs. Ravindra Jadeja (16) was playing with him.
