IND vs WI 2nd Test Yashasvi Jaiswal considers himself lucky to have got a chance to play alongside Virat Kohli. The young batsman says that it is a big thing to play with the legend (King Kohli) at the beginning of his career. Yashasvi played a half-century in the first match between India and West Indies. Although, he could not run the innings for long, but in his second match also he performed the art very well. At the end of the first day’s play (IND vs WI) in Trinidad, Yashasvi told reporters about his experience.
Yashasvi said that “Just watching Virat Kohli bat is an amazing experience. what should i say He is a legend, I feel lucky to have played with him. There is a lot to learn from him, be it cricket or outside it. I try to understand his mind.”
Yashasvi said about his batting that “When I go out to bat, I just try to hold on for as long as I can. I went in with that mindset.”
Jaiswal played a half-century innings, the opening pair again amazing
Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal made an amazing opening partnership in the second match against the West Indies as well. Both the batsmen gave India a good start with an amazing partnership of 139 runs. Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 57 runs off 74 balls, in which he also hit 9 fours and a six. At the same time, captain Rohit Sharma scored 80 runs and missed a century. While making his debut in the first match, Yashasvi played an amazing inning of 171 runs. While Rohit Sharma also played a century with 103 runs.
King Kohli is close to century
Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja are at the crease till the end of the first day of the second Test match. Virat is close to a century in his 500th match with 87 runs off 161 balls with the help of eight fours.
