India’s journey in the T20 World Cup 2022 came to an end with a disappointing and no belligerence in Adelaide. Team India was defeated by 10 wickets in the second semi-final of the World Cup against England on Thursday, November 10. Team India was considered a contender for the title, but like the last 6 T20 World Cups, it failed once again. Hardik Pandya, who performed well for the team in this semi-final, could not hide his disappointment and expressed grief in a special message to the fans.
This defeat must have broken the hearts of the Indian fans, but hardly anyone would have been more disappointed and sad than the players. Especially when a player puts all his efforts and his hard work does not yield results. In the semi-finals, Hardik also struggled alone for the team and took the team to a position of competition.

Hardik played a brilliant innings of 63 runs in 33 balls in this semi-final, helping India to 168 for six, but England achieved this target in just 16 overs without losing a wicket. After the defeat, Hardik said that he is in shock, hurt, disappointed. Hardik said,
Disappointed, hurt, in shock. It is difficult for all of us to accept this result. We have thoroughly enjoyed the relationship with our fellow players, we fought for each other at every step. Thanks to our support staff for months of dedication and hard work.

Not only this, Hardik also gave a special message to the thousands of fans who came to support Team India by filling every stadium in Australia. He wrote, Thanks to our fans who supported us everywhere, we are thankful to all of you. This was not to happen, but we will continue to fight.
How was your journey in India?
India started the tournament in a spectacular fashion and defeated Pakistan by 4 wickets in the very first match. After this, Team India also defeated the Netherlands, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe, while it was defeated only by South Africa. The team was considered a contender for victory against England, but like the previous matches of the tournament, the bowlers could not run this time, while the batsmen again disappointed.
