The occasion that everyone was eagerly waiting for came at 7.30 pm at DY Patil in Navi Mumbai, when Australian legend Beth Mooney became the first captain to win the toss in the first match of the tournament’s first season. In this match between Gujarat Giants and Mumbai Indians, the captain of Gujarat won the toss and declared to bowl first. Gujarat has included four spinners and three fast bowlers in their playing eleven.
