New Delhi.Gujarat Titans has reached the final of IPL 2023. In Qualifier 2, Hardik Pandya’s team defeated Mumbai Indians by 62 runs. Gujarat will clash with MS Dhoni’s Chennai on May 28 for the title. Talking about Qualifier 2, only Shubman Gill overshadowed the whole of Mumbai. Batting first, Gujarat had put up a mountain of 233 runs for 3 wickets in 20 overs. Only Gill’s bat thundered from Gujarat’s side.
He hit 129 runs in 60 balls alone. Apart from Gill, Hardik Pandya hit 43 runs in 31 balls. The Gujarat opener single-handedly ousted Mumbai, the most successful IPL team, out of the tournament. Suryakumar Yadav scored the maximum 61 runs for Mumbai. Gill was the hero of Qualifier 2. They tore apart Mumbai, but after the match, Gill and Ishan Kishan’s amazing camaraderie was shown on the field.
