“Feeled like we were playing with 10 players”, Aakash Chopra lashes out at Pandya for India’s T20 series loss

Meanwhile, former Indian opener Akash Chopra has expressed anger over Axar Patel’s non-use in bowling.

Former cricketer and current commentator Aakash Chopra said on his YouTube channel that “When it was your turn to bowl, it was a whole new story. We saw in the last match that Akshar Patel was bowling the first over and in the decider he was bowled only 1 over, the way Akshar has been used. We do not know why this has happened”.

He further said that “You are saying that Nicholas Pooran will come to bat, then we will get Kuldeep to bowl. Otherwise, you will make complete overs with Akshar. On the other hand, if Pooran comes up to bat then what will you do? Arshdeep again dismissed Kyle Mayers, after which Pooran came up. The letter was not used throughout the match. It felt like we were playing with 10 players”.

Akshar bowled in the 15th over

In the India vs West Indies match, Akshar Patel bowled the 15th over, conceding only 8 runs. After that he was not even given an over. Akash has also said that Mukesh has not even bowled an over with the new ball in the entire series. However, Mukesh bowled with the new ball in the ODI series and also took wickets.
