Jaipur: Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Faf Duplesey has once again made a useful contribution for his team and played a brilliant inning while keeping his feet on the wicket in difficult times. Bangalore is facing Rajasthan Royals on Sunday in IPL-2023. It is not easy to bat on Sawai Man Singh’s wicket in this match but Duplessy did it and scored a half-century.
Duplessi is doing consistently well this season. He is the highest run-scorer this season, so he is keeping the Orange Cap with him. Once when the team was in trouble, Duplessi played captaincy and handled the team.
Played a slow innings contrary to expectations
Duplessy’s style is to score fast runs. He is known for scoring runs in a stormy manner. But Duplesey played a slow innings against Rajasthan. The reason for this is the pitch of this stadium which is slow. On this, the batsman can lose his wicket in a hurry. Duplessy recognized this and made the innings with patience. He lost his opening partner Virat Kohli on the last ball in the seventh over. Kohli’s wicket fell on a total score of 50. Only 18 runs came out of Kohli’s bat.
But after this, Duplecy, along with Glenn Maxwell, did not allow the innings to disintegrate. Meanwhile, Duplessi completed his half-century. He completed his half-century in 41 balls, which is his sixth half-century of this season. After scoring a half-century, he could not last long and became the victim of KM Asif on the fifth ball of the 15th over. Asif got him caught by Yashasvi Jaiswal. Duplessi played an inning of 55 runs in 44 balls with the help of three fours and two sixes.
