According to media reports, Dream 11 will now be the new jersey sponsor of the Indian cricket team.

Fantasy platform Dream11 is likely to replace Byjus as the new jersey sponsor of the Indian cricket team. The BCCI had issued a tender for this on 14 June. According to a media report, Dream 11 will now be the new jersey sponsor of the Indian cricket team. Byjus had an option deal with the BCCI till November but decided to opt out of the contract in March.
According to a report in News18, in the previous deal with Byju’s, the BCCI was earning around Rs 5.5 crore for each bilateral match and due to the logo status, the value was reduced to Rs 1.7 crore for an ICC game. The deal with Dream 11 is likely to cost the Indian cricket board less than what it earns from Byju’s.
