Mohammed Shami has criticized former Pakistan cricketer Hasan Raza for his strange claim of giving different balls to Indian bowlers. The statement given by Raza is during the World Cup 2023. To justify his claim, the Pakistan cricketer had cited Shami’s ball to Angelo Mathews apart from Siraj’s spell.
Shami hit back at former Pakistani cricketer
Mohammed Shami told News18, “Basically they have made cricket a joke because we don’t enjoy each other’s success. When you are praised you become very happy, but when you lose you feel that you have been cheated. If you look at the records from the time we were part of the team, you won’t find them anywhere. The street looks complete. How can we get results from so much burning? You can never get good results with so much jealousy.”
Raza had claimed that the ball was changed in the second innings of the India vs Sri Lanka match. He claimed that ICC, umpires or BCCI are giving different balls to the Indian bowlers. He further said that in his days only one ball was used and it had both swing and reverse swing.
