New Delhi. The Asia Cup is to be played this year and for the last few months there has been a ruckus regarding its hosting. Actually, Pakistan has got the hosting of Asia Cup, but last year BCCI Secretary Jai Shah had made it clear that the Indian team will not visit Pakistan for this tournament and will play with Pakistan only on neutral venue. Pakistan had landed on the threat
In such a situation, the matter of Asia Cup between India and Pakistan seems to be resolved. In fact, after BCCI’s refusal, Pakistan also started threatening to withdraw from the World Cup, which is to be played in India this year. Pakistan Board Chairman Najam Sethi had said that if the Indian team does not tour Pakistan for the Asia Cup, then it is difficult for Pakistan to go to India for the World Cup.
