The Indian team registered its third win in the T20 World Cup 2022. India defeated Bangladesh by five runs in a thrilling match at the Adelaide ground. This win has eased India’s path to the semi-finals. At one point of time in this match, it seemed that India might be a victim of upset but the Indian bowlers saved the credibility. The thrilling match was decided in the last over where Arshdeep Singh had a difficult test in which he passed with 100 marks.
Batting first, India scored 184 runs. Bangladesh’s team made a strong start and scored 66 runs in the first seven overs. However, after this rain came and they had to score 151 runs in 16 overs to win. Indian bowlers put their full strength. Bangladesh kept the Indian bowlers in their nose till the last over and this was the reason why Rohit & Co had to wait till the last ball to win.
Arshdeep in the last over
Rohit Sharma had the option of Mohammed Shami and Arshdeep to get the last over. Many fans felt that Shami’s experience would be given priority but Rohit Sharma chose Arshdeep Singh for this ordeal. Arshdeep had to save 20 runs in the last over and this young bowler gave the team victory.
15.1 – Arshdeep bowled a brilliant yorker on which Taskin swung the bat, Dinesh Karthik could not stop the ball properly and Taskin ran for runs. Only one run came off this ball. (1)

15.4 – Narul Hasan plays the ball here at long on and runs, after the completion of the first run, the ball reaches Rahul who tried a direct hit but could not succeed. (2 runs)
15.5 – Arshdeep bowls a yorker but Nurul plays the ball to backward point and hits a boundary. After this ball it was certain that India would not lose but Bangladesh had a chance to take the match till the super over. (4 runs)
15.6 – Nurul Hasan played the ball at long off on the last ball, the ball was not in the air which clearly meant that Arshdeep has worked for Team India. (1 run)
