New Delhi: Ambati Rayudu, who played a key role in the title win of Chennai Super Kings in IPL-2023, announced his retirement after becoming the champion. But Rayudu will once again be seen wielding the bat on the cricket field. Actually, after IPL, Rayudu had said that he is retiring from Indian cricket. That means he will be seen playing abroad. Now Rayudu has decided to play in the first edition of America’s T20 League Major League Cricket (MLC).
Rayudu will be seen playing for Texas Super Kings, the franchise team of Chennai Super Kings in this league. Texas Super Kings have announced this on social media. With this, Rayudu has become the first Indian cricketer to represent the Indian team and will now play in Major League Cricket. Six teams will be seen playing in the first season of this league. The first season will be played from 13 to 31 July.

Rayudu won the IPL three times with Chennai Super Kings. Rayudu was part of the Chennai team when Chennai won the IPL in 2018, 2021 and 2023. This year he has retired from IPL and Indian cricket and will now show his mettle in foreign leagues.
