New Delhi: Former Pakistan batsman Ahmed Shahzad has said a big thing about former Indian opener Gautam Gambhir. Shahzad said that Gautam Gambhir is not able to digest the success of Virat Kohli, the veteran batsman of the present time. Shahzad said this about the fight between Gambhir and Kohli in a match during IPL-2023.
In IPL-2023, a match was played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants, in which Lucknow’s mentor and Bangalore’s batsman Kohli clashed. In this match, however, there was a dispute between Lucknow’s fast bowler Naveen-ul-Haq and Kohli, in which the latter had a serious jump.

‘Do you do this seriously’
Speaking on the podcast of Pakistan’s Nadir Ali, Shahzad said that Gambhir is not able to digest that Kohli has achieved the respect he did not get in his entire career. He said that Gambhir is not liking the fame achieved by Kohli at a young age. Shahzad said that if he had done the same with Sachin the way Naveen sled Kohli, would Gambhir have reacted in this way?

Shahzad praised Kohli and said that Kohli is always there to help him whenever he needs any kind of advice. Shahzad said that Kohli is very humble and he respects him as a player. Praising Kohli’s fitness, Shahzad said that when he used to play in Under-19, he was fat but in the last few years he has changed a lot in himself and he is taking Indian cricket forward.

Shahzad has said that Kohli has improved in every sense over the years, be it as a player or as a media talker. He said that Kohli has played a big role in taking Indian cricket forward.
