    Five teams are participating in the first season of the Women’s Premier League. The captaincy of three out of five teams has been given to Australian players

    The BCCI Women’s Premier League 2023 is about to start from March 4. Five teams are going to participate in the first season of the league. All the five teams have announced the names of the captains. The captains of three of the five teams are Australian while two teams have got Indian captains. (AFP)

    Mumbai Indians have chosen Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur as their captain. Mumbai had bought Harman for one crore 80 lakh rupees. Team India made it to the finals of the T20 World Cup 2020 under his captaincy, also took India to the finals of the Commonwealth Games, while this year also the team reached the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup.
