Jason Roy, who played as an opener in England’s World Cup-winning team, has been offered £300,000 for a two-year contract with Los Angeles Knight Riders, reports Daily Mail. Talking in Indian currency, this amount is around 30 crores. That is, for one year, for Rs 15 crore, this player will sign an agreement with the franchise, while leaving the contract of ECB.
Roy is currently associated with the central contract of the ECB. His contract is till October. Taking a historic step, he will sign a contract with the T20 franchise. In 2019, England won the first 50 ODI World Cup, Roy was included in this team. But Jason Roy was dropped from the team in the subsequent T20 World Cup.

Jason Roy was recalled to the ODI squad after a brief gap, playing cricket against Australia, South Africa and Bangladesh.
