New Delhi: Political turmoil is in full swing regarding the assembly elections to be held in five states including Uttar Pradesh. Amidst the restrictions of the Election Commission due to Corona, the leaders of all the parties are busy wooing the voters in their own way. In this episode, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to hold a meeting with BJP workers of his parliamentary constituency Varanasi today. This meeting will be held through video conferencing.
In fact, the Election Commission of India has banned all physical rallies till January 22 due to the increasing infection of Corona. According to the schedule posted on Twitter by the Uttar Pradesh unit of BJP, the virtual dialogue will start at 11 am.
A team of 20-20 workers of IT and Internet media has been formed for the PM’s dialogue. Each worker has been entrusted with the responsibility of getting at least five people down-loaded the NaMo app. The workers will connect with the PM online, so there will be no gathering anywhere.
This will be the prime minister’s first interaction with party workers after the Election Commission announced the schedule for the assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh last week. According to information, the Prime Minister may direct BJP workers to inform people about the welfare schemes implemented by the party in the state, where the BJP is eyeing a return to power for the second time in a row in Uttar Pradesh.
