New Delhi: Amidst the ongoing political turmoil in Uttar Pradesh, the alliance between the Samajwadi Party and the Bhim Army has not been possible. Bhim Army chief Chandrashekhar Azad said in a press conference today that his party Azad Samaj Party is not going to contest the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections in alliance with the Samajwadi Party.
Chandrashekhar Azad said that he united ‘Bahujan Samaj’ and kept meeting Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav for six months. Azad said that he was in Lucknow for two days to meet Akhilesh Yadav. Azad Samaj Party chief Chandrashekhar Azad said that Akhilesh Yadav has humiliated me.
He said that I think Akhilesh Yadav does not need Dalits. They only want Dalits to vote for them but they will not allow Dalits to become the leader. My party will not forge an alliance with SP.
Chandrashekhar Azad said that Akhilesh Yadav is behaving like BJP. Just doing things. Just like CM Yogi is doing drama after eating food at Dalit’s house, the SP is doing the same. We wanted to form an alliance to stop the BJP. Akhilesh Yadav does not know the meaning of social justice.
He further said that I follow the principles of Kanshi Ram. Like Kanshi Ram was cheated when he made Netaji the CM. Akhilesh’s government has not even been formed yet. I do not want that after joining such a government, I will not be able to raise the voice of my people.
