New Delhi: The BJP Central Election Committee (CEC) meeting is going to be held today under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It is being told that after this meeting, BJP can release its next list of candidates for the UP assembly elections. According to the information, about 160 names have been decided by the BJP for the third, fourth and fifth phases. These names will be placed before PM Modi in the CEC meeting. It is being told that the decision has also been taken on the seats to be given to allies Nishad Party and Apna Dal.
Earlier on Tuesday, in the BJP office in Delhi, the names of the candidates for the UP assembly elections were churned on Tuesday. BJP President JP Nadda, UP in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan, CM Yogi Adityanath, organization in-charge Radha Mohan Singh, State President Swatantradev Singh, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya and Dr Dinesh Sharma were present in this meeting.
According to the information, BJP will not announce all the names at once. The names of the candidates for Phase III and IV will be announced in the next list.
Let us tell you that BJP had announced the names of 107 candidates in the first list. On Tuesday evening, the candidates for two more seats in the second phase were declared. National President JP Nadda has already been authorized to decide the seats between the two phases.
