Deoband: Maulana Mahmood Asad Madani, president of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind (Mahmood Madani Group), a prominent Muslim organization, said on Sunday that those who ask Muslims to leave the country should leave the country themselves.
According to a statement issued by the organization, Madani objected to the plans of some states to implement Uniform Civil Code, saying, “There is no need to frighten the people of the community.”
He urged the Muslim community to remain faithful to the religion and show firmness.
The former Rajya Sabha member was addressing the session held on the last day of the annual two-day session of Jamiat’s management committee in Deoband, Uttar Pradesh. Maulana Madani said, ‘We will not go, whoever we are fond of sending, should leave from here.’
He also said, ‘Those who are caring for nation building have to be taken along. With understanding, courage and a long-term strategy, the dealers of hate have to be defeated.
In the convention, Mahmud Madani said, ‘We know that even when we talk about the country, many people have pain in their stomach. If they talk about nation building, nation’s unity and integrity, then that nation is religion and if we talk about nation’s unity, integrity then that is our taunt (taunt).’
According to him, ‘If we lose our lives for the protection of this country, we will shed blood, then it will be a matter of luck for us. This is my country. Now I am saying that, then it will also become troublesome. Brother our words are also not tolerated by you. We are just trying to tell you, not to scare you, you are scared, we are telling you to stop intimidating, stop scaring your loved ones and those you don’t understand.
He further said, ‘We are not non-citizens, we are the cities of this country. This country is ours. Understand well, this is our country and the responsibility we have for this country, we will fulfill it at any cost. There will be no compromise on that.
Mahmood Madani says, ‘Our religion is different, our dress is different, our culture is also different, our way of eating and drinking is also different. And if you do not tolerate our religion, then you go somewhere else. They say every little thing that go to Pakistan, brother, you will not get a chance to go to Pakistan, we got a chance, we have rejected. That’s why we will not go, the one who is fond of sending, should go.
He said, ‘Hazrat, I am sorry, I do not want to speak like this, I do not even like to speak like this, those who heat the market of hatred, in fact they are a minority. We are already in the majority, recognize this. According to the organization’s statement, Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind’s Assam unit president and Lok Sabha member Maulana Badruddin Ajmal criticized the government’s attitude and said that the silence of Muslims should not be taken as weakness.
Apart from this, on the second day of the convention, the organization passed resolutions on Gyanvapi Masjid in Varanasi and Shahi Idgah of Mathura and Uniform Civil Code and issued a manifesto to all Muslims to stay away from fear, despair and sentimentality and for the betterment of their future. advised to work.
In the resolution relating to Gyanvapi Masjid and Mathura Idgah, the organization expressed its “deep displeasure at the attitude of the political parties supporting and disturbing the peace and tranquility in the country by repeatedly creating controversy over the ancient places of worship,” the statement said. Is. Movements run in the name of keeping the old controversies alive and correcting the alleged excesses and mistakes of history will not benefit the country.
“At this time, such campaigns are going on against Gyanvapi Masjid of Benaras, the historic Idgah of Mathura and Digar (other) mosques, which have damaged the peace and dignity and integrity of the country,” the resolution said.
“Now by raising these controversies, opportunities are being created for communal conflict and negative politics of majority community domination,” it alleged.
The resolution also referred to the Place of Worship (Special Provisions) Act 1991 and the Supreme Court’s decision on the Ramjanmabhoomi and Babri Masjid dispute. At the same time, the proposal related to the Uniform Civil Code has been accused of trying to deprive the fundamental rights given in the Constitution and has expressed concern over it.
According to the proposal, the rules of marriage, talaq, khula (divorce on the demand of wife), inheritance, etc., included in Muslim personal law, are part of Islam’s precepts, which are taken from the Qur’an and hadith (teachings of the Prophet Muhammad).
It said, “Any change in them or prohibiting anyone from following them is against the express interference of Islam and the guarantees given in Article 25 of the Constitution of India.”
“This conference of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind wants to make it clear that no Muslim accepts any interference in Islamic law and order,” the resolution said.
It also states that if the government tries to implement the Uniform Civil Code, it will try to stop it by staying within the ambit of the Constitution.
The convention also condemned BJP leader Nupur Sharma for her alleged derogatory remarks against the last prophet of Islam, Mohammad, and demanded that the government enact such a law at the earliest, which would end the existing law and order chaos, such as Shameful immoral acts should be curbed and great men of all religions should be respected.
11 different resolutions were passed in the convention, including ‘Islamophobia’, the situation in the country, education, ‘Israel-Palestine’ issue, Gyanvapi mosque, dispute over Shahi Idgah and Uniform Civil Code among others.

He had said, ‘The country is going through a period of turmoil but people sitting in the government have stitched their lips, which is a matter of concern for all. Muslims are facing difficulties even while walking on the streets of their cities. We will bear every torture, but will not allow anyone to ruin our country. We can compromise on all issues, but not at the cost of the country.
Maulana Arshad Madani, chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind (Arshad Madani Group), had said on May 28 that the fight of minorities is not against any Hindu, but with a government that sets fire on the basis of religion, which has to be fought through the court. will go.

The organization also accused the central government of ending the centuries-old brotherhood. He also alleged that poison is being mixed in the minds of the majority community of the country under the patronage of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led government.
About two thousand members of the organization and other guests participated in the convention. Jamiat-Ulema-e-Hind was established in 1920. It played an important role in the freedom movement. The organization had opposed the partition in 1947. Jamiat is the largest organization working for the welfare of Muslims in the country.
Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind is divided into two groups. One group is headed by former Rajya Sabha member Mahmood Asad Madani, while the other group is headed by Maulana Arshad Madani. Arshad Madani is the uncle of Mahmood Madani.
When Mahmud’s father and Jamiat chief Asad Ahmad Madani died in 2006, a dispute arose between him and his uncle over the leadership of the organization, leading to a split and the organization split into factions.
