Telangana assembly election 2023: T Raja Singh is not a new name in Telangana politics. He has a deep connection with the politics and controversies here. T Raja remained in the headlines more because of his controversial statements than his work. BJP had recently suspended him for making objectionable remarks against Prophet Mohammad.
In the year 2020, Facebook had described him as the most dangerous person. But whether you consider it the irony of Indian politics or something else… Due to electoral winds, BJP, keeping all those things aside, canceled the suspension of the ‘King’ of controversies and fielded him from Hyderabad.

Facebook called Raja the most dangerous person
In 2020, Facebook had included T Raja Singh in the category of ‘Dangerous Individual’ for sharing inflammatory posts and videos as well as using abusive language. Not only this, Facebook had even banned him.
Trouble with comedian Munawar Faruqui
It is about 20th August 2022, when comedian Munawar Faruqui’s show ‘Dongri to Nowhere’ was going to be held in Madhapur, Hyderabad. But before the show could happen, T Raja threatened Munavvar not to do the show. Raja had threatened to beat the comedian and burn the venue. Well, comedian Farooqui’s show went well, but from here a new controversy took birth.
Raja released a video accusing the comedian of insulting Hindu deities. In this video he abused Prophet Mohammad. Along with this, he also made indecent remarks on Farooqui’s mother. After this, when the controversy escalated, BJP issued a show cause notice to Raja and suspended him from the party. But after just one year the party canceled T Raja’s suspension.
If Yogi is not voted for, the house will be demolished
Even during the UP assembly elections, a video of Raja was widely viral. In this video, he is seen saying that the houses of those who did not vote for BJP will be demolished and they will be thrown out of the state.
Statement on shooting Rohingya Muslims
Cases are registered against T Raja Singh for his statements ranging from calling Muslims anti-national to shooting Rohingya Muslims. Regarding Rohingya Muslims, he once said that if Rohingya Muslims do not leave the country then they should be shot. He had said that only those who beg for votes organize Iftar parties.
Threat to burn theaters showing Padmavat
Raja’s name was also linked to a controversy regarding Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Padmavat. In 2017, he opposed the film and said that the theaters showing the film would be burnt.

T Raja’s political career
In the 2018 assembly elections, BJP had won only one seat in Telangana. Raja Singh became the only BJP MLA from Goshamahal area. At present, this time also BJP has placed its political bet on Raja.
