Lucknow: Former ministers in Yogi Adityanath cabinet Swami Prasad Maurya and Dharam Singh Saini joined the SP party in the presence of Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav in Lucknow on Friday. Bhagwati Prasad Sagar, Vinay Shakya, Roshni Lal Verma, Mukesh Verma, Brijesh Prajapati and Chaudhary Amar Singh, who left the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) present at the event, joined the Samajwadi Party.
Bhagwati Prasad Sagar represents Bilhaur constituency in Kanpur, Shakya is MLA from Bidhuna, Roshan Lal Verma from Tilhar and BJP MLA from Shikohabad Mukesh Verma joined the Samajwadi Party. BJP ally Apna Dal (S) MLA Chaudhary Amar Singh from Sharatganj was also welcomed by Akhilesh Yadav.
Two of the three BJP ministers who left power recently were present on the stage, while the third Dara Singh Chouhan was not on the stage. He welcomed all the leaders who came to his party except him.
During this program, Dharam Singh Saini said that the socialist flag is going to be waved once again on 10 March. He said, “The respect you have given to us, the brotherhood that you have in you by making you a part of your family, I want to assure you that in 2022, we will take oath of CM and in 2024 that of the Prime Minister.”
On this occasion, Swami Prasad Maurya said, “Today, January 14, Makar Sankranti is going to write the history of the end of BJP. Big leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party, who were sleeping in Kumbhakaran, who did not have time to talk to ministers and MLAs, have become sleepless after we have resigned.
He said, “Some people of BJP say that why did not resign for 5 years, some bad minded people say that they left the party for the sake of their son. BJP said that Swami Prasad Maurya and Keshav Prasad will be the Chief Minister of Maurya, but what did he do after that, brought him from Gorakhpur and cheated backward and OBC. Now he gives slogans of 80 and 20.
Swamy said, “Now the slogan is 85 and 15, there is division in that too. 69000 teachers have been recruited now, are SC people not Hindus? Are the backward classes not Hindus? Is only 23 percent Hindu? Now all these Scheduled Tribes Backward Majlums will stand with us. Ambedkar’s caste gathered along with Lohia.
