Salasar Balaji is the famous temple of Lord Hanuman in Salasar of Sujangarh.

Talking about the election results of Sujangarh Assembly seat in the 2018 elections, the contest here was triangular. Congress candidate Master Bhanwarlal Meghwal got 83,632 votes while BJP’s Khemaram got 44,883 votes. While independent candidate Santosh Meghwal got 38,603 votes. Bhanwarlal Meghwal won by a margin of 38,749 (21.5%) votes.
In the then elections, there were a total of 2,51,696 voters in Sujangarh assembly seat, out of which the number of male voters was 1,31,814 and the number of female voters was 1,19,881. A total of 1,80,117 (72.8%) voters cast their votes. Whereas 3,201 (1.3%) votes were cast in favor of NOTA. However, after the death of MLA Bhanwarlal Meghwal in 2021, by-election was held here. Bhanwarlal Meghwal’s son Manoj Meghwal won the 2021 by-election.

Whereas since 1990, BJP has won from here thrice. After 1993, BJP won in 2003 and 2013. Khemaram had won in the elections of 2003 and 2013.
