Maharashtra Political Crisis: Political struggle continues in Maharashtra, BJP can claim to form government today

New Delhi: Political developments in Maharashtra have been changing rapidly for the last two days. After the rebellion of Shiv Sena veteran Eknath Shinde, there is a crisis in the Uddhav Thackeray government in the state. Eknath Shinde is camping in Guwahati along with several other rebel MLAs. The rebel attitude of the MLAs has increased the concern of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. Last night he also left the CM’s government bungalow and shifted to his Mustaini house, Matoshree.

In Maharashtra, BJP can present its claim to form the government in front of the Governor today. Under the leadership of Devendra Fadnavis, BJP can give the list of MLAs to the Governor. Along with this, the party can also hold meetings with its MLAs. BJP is preparing to keep the support of its 106 MLAs and other independent MLAs united.

The round of meetings continued at Uddhav Thackeray’s official residence yesterday. After this, he addressed the people of the state by going Facebook live. During this, while playing the emotional card, he said that if any MLA of Shiv Sena tells me, then I will resign from the post of Chief Minister but no one should cheat with me. I will be happy if any Shiv Sainik becomes CM.

The Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance of the state is making every effort to bring back the MLAs. During his address yesterday, Thackeray offered to give up the post of CM and the responsibility of Shiv Sena chief. He even offered Shinde to become the CM. At the same time, BJP is keeping a close watch on these rebel MLAs.

Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut said that Uddhav Thackeray will continue to be the Chief Minister. If needed, the ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance will prove majority in the assembly, he said.
