After becoming the National General Secretary of Lok Dal, Vijender Singh first demonstrated his strength by doing a huge road show from Ghaziabad to Meerut on his arrival in Meerut.
After the 60 km long roadshow, National General Secretary of Lok Dal, Vijender Singh said that Lok Dal is the true well-wisher of the farmers, we will fight for the rights of the farmers of entire Uttar Pradesh including Western UP, will organize a big movement for the problem of sugarcane farmers and loan waiver. .
Vijender Singh said that on December 23, on the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh, Lok Dal will organize big programs by uniting farmers across Uttar Pradesh. For the first time after assuming office, he thanked the people for the immense public support he received on his visit to his home district Meerut and announced that Lok Dal will contest the Lok Sabha elections very strongly in 2024.

Taking a dig at Jayant Chaudhary’s RLD, Vijender Singh said that the real Lok Dal is our party, now the farmers have woken up and after understanding the truth, they are returning to their roots, RLD has only done family politics in the name of farmers. Now in Western UP the people’s choice is not Rashtriya Lok Dal but our political party Lok Dal.
Vijender Singh said that Samajwadi Party and RLD together have only cheated the farmers and despite being in the opposition, they have not launched a single major movement yet. Vijender Singh announced in Meerut that Lok Dal will contest elections on all 80 Lok Sabha seats of UP, soon a strong organizational structure of the party will be prepared in every district.
