Khajuwala Assembly Seat
Election activity has intensified regarding the assembly elections in Rajasthan. Continuous election campaigns have been started by political parties. Voting will be conducted here on 25th November. Bikaner district, known for its sweets and namkeen, has 7 assembly seats, out of which 3 seats are with Congress and 3 seats were won by BJP. Whereas Communist Party of India (M) had won one seat. Congress is in control of Khajuwala seat of the district.
How many voters, how much population
If we look at the results of Khajuwala seat in the 2018 assembly seat elections, 8 candidates had presented their challenge here. There was a tough contest between Congress’s Govind Ram and BJP’s Dr Vishwanath Meghwal. Govind Ram got 82,994 votes while Dr. Vishnath got 51,905 votes. Govind Ram won by a margin of 31,089 (20.5%) votes.
In the then elections, there were a total of 1,97,877 voters in Khajuwala assembly seat in which the number of male voters was 1,06,273 and the number of female voters was 91,600. A total of 1,51,305 (77.5%) voters cast their votes. 2,130 (1.1%) votes were cast in favor of NOTA.
How was the political history?
If we talk about the political history of Khajuwala seat, the history here is not very old. If we look at the last 3 elections, the contest here has been between Govind Ram and Dr. Vishwanath. In 2018, Govind Ram of Congress had won, in which he defeated Dr. Vishwanath. Here in 2008, Dr. Vishwanath Meghwal won on BJP ticket. In which he defeated Govind Ram.

Similarly, in the 2013 elections, Dr. Vishwanath Meghwal of BJP again presented a tough challenge and defeated Govind Ram of Congress. However, in 2018, Dr. Vishwanath Meghwal could not score a hat-trick and had to face defeat.
