Senior AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj said that I have talked to many people including constitutional experts. Till date, it has never happened in history that a sitting Chief Minister has been put in jail on the pretext of trial. Being convicted is a different matter. There is no such provision within the law and the Constitution that the fundamental right of the people of Delhi or any other state to vote and elect their government can be challenged.
