Rajasthan assembly elections
BJP national president JP Nadda on Thursday, while releasing the party’s manifesto for Rajasthan Assembly elections, tried to woo women, youth and farmers and BJP made many election promises, but the announcements made by BJP in Rajasthan were rejected by Congress. Have been put in the dock. Congress has tried to corner BJP by presenting its stand by calling them a ‘jumla’.
Congress responded in a befitting manner to the promises made by BJP and questioned BJP’s promises. Congress raised questions on BJP’s promises ranging from providing gas cylinders for Rs 450 to providing employment.
1- Under PM Ujjwala scheme, cylinders will be given to women of all poor families for Rs 450.
Congress’s answer: Why did Modi government not do this at the national level? In Rajasthan, the Congress government is already giving cylinders for Rs 500 under Ujjwala. Now preparations are being made to take it to middle class families. After the formation of Congress government again, 1 crore 5 lakh families will be given cylinders for Rs 500.
2- Bhamashah will start Health Infrastructure Mission with an investment of Rs 40,000 crore.
Congress’s answer: Under the leadership of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Congress has made Rajasthan the number 1 state in the field of health. Currently the health budget is Rs 20,000 crore and the people here get Chiranjeevi insurance of Rs 25 lakh. This is not the case in any BJP ruled state. The talk of Rs 40,000 crore is just a statement. No outline of the Bhamashah Health Infrastructure Mission has been given.
3 – Prime Minister will increase the amount of Kisan Samman Nidhi to Rs 12,000 per year
Congress’s answer: Kisan Samman Nidhi is a scheme of the Central Government. Why doesn’t the central government increase it now? It has nothing to do with state governments. The Congress government provides free electricity worth Rs 1800 every month i.e. Rs 21,600 per year. Besides, it is already giving pension of Rs 1,000 every month i.e. Rs 12,000 per year to elderly farmers.
4- Under the Free Scooty Scheme, the Chief Minister will give scooties to meritorious girl students who have passed 12th.
Congress’s answer: The Congress government is giving scooties every year to 30,000 meritorious girls passing 12th.
5- Mahila police station in every district. We will form women’s desks in every police station and anti-Romeo squads in all major cities.
Congress’s answer: Perhaps BJP is not aware that at present there are women police stations in every district. There is also a women’s desk in every police station. There is no phrase like Anti Romeo Squad, Nirbhaya Squad is at work in the state. Unit for Crime Against Women (SICAU) has been formed for women under the leadership of Additional SP level officer.
6- Chief Minister will start Awas Yojana along with Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana to provide a house to every homeless person.
Congress’s answer: Till 2013, Mukhyamantri BPL Housing Scheme for the poor was run by the Congress government in the state. It was closed by the BJP government after coming to power in 2013. Now he is giving the slogan of Chief Minister Housing Scheme.
7- Students from economically weak families will be given annual assistance of Rs 1,200 for uniform etc.
Congress’s answer: Every year, 68 lakh children of government schools of Rajasthan are being given clothes and money for sewing two uniforms. This is also a promise made due to his lack of homework.
