Bharatiya Janata Party has released the fifth list of candidates for Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections on Saturday. The names of a total of 92 candidates are included in this list. With this, names of a total of 228 candidates have been announced so far in MP. In the list, ticket has been given to Devendra Jain from Yashodhara Raje Scindia’s seat Shivpuri. Devendra Jain is counted among the big leaders of the party in Madhya Pradesh.
Yashodhara Raje had already refused to contest the assembly elections. The name of any Union Minister is not included in the fifth list of BJP. However, after the CEC meeting held on Friday, it was decided that the party is not going to give ticket to any Union Minister. In Friday’s meeting it was revealed that there was still doubt regarding the two seats. This is the reason why instead of 94 candidates, only 92 candidates are named in the list. Candidates for two seats have not been announced yet.
Five more ministers of Shivraj government also get tickets
Five more ministers of Shivraj government have also been given tickets in the fifth list. The names of Mahendra Singh Sisodia, Inder Singh Parmar, Usha Thakur, Brajendra Singh Yadav, Suresh Dhakad are included in these ministers. In Madhya Pradesh, Mahendra Singh Sisodia is counted among the supporters of Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. Mahendra Singh also left Congress and joined BJP.

At the same time, the ticket of Kailash Vijayvargiya’s son Akash, the current MLA from Indore-3 seat, has been canceled. BJP has fielded Rakesh Golu Shukla from this seat. Leaving aside Yashodhara Raje Scindia, the names of two ministers of Shivraj government, OPS Bhadauria and Gaurishankar Bisen, are not included in the list. In place of Bisen, his daughter Mausam Bisen has been given the ticket. A total of 12 women have been made candidates in this list released by BJP.
Votes will be cast on November 17
Let us tell you that voting for Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections will be done in a single phase on 17th November. After this, the results will be released along with five states on December 3. In view of the elections, political parties have entered the field with full force. Big promises are also being made by political parties regarding the elections.
