BJP leader Golu Shukla
BJP has released the fifth list of candidates for Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections on Saturday. A major upheaval has been seen in the most popular number three seat of Indore in the list. The party has fielded Golu Shukla from the seat by canceling the ticket of sitting MLA Kailash Vijayvargiya’s son Akash.
At the same time, BJP has fielded Kailash Vijayvargiya from Indore-1 in this election. After the release of BJP’s fifth list, the biggest question arising in everyone’s mind is who is Golu Shukla? Whom the party has fielded in place of Akash Vijayvargiya.

Who is Golu Shukla?
Golu Shukla is the nephew of Congress MLA Sanjay Shukla. About a year ago, both the families lived in the same house. Golu has also been the former city president of BJP Yuva Morcha. At present he is also the Vice Chairman of Indore Development Authority. Till many years ago, Golu was counted as the leader of Kailash Vijayvargiya’s camp. But in the last few years, he has started being counted among the close friends of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Now Golu is going to contest assembly elections for the first time.
Kailash Vijayvargiya’s advantage or disadvantage?
Now the question is arising whether Kailash Vijayvargiya will benefit or suffer from Golu contesting the elections? People interested in Indore politics believe that Kailash Vijayvargiya is very happy with the party’s decision. This is because Sanjay Shukla and Golu Shukla live in Indore-1 assembly constituency.
Kailash Vijayvargiya’s hold on the seat will be strengthened
According to sources, there was internal discussion that Golu’s team had been working for the last several days to make his uncle Sanjay Shukla win. But now the focus of Golu’s team will be on Indore-3. Due to this, Sanjay Shukla’s hold on the seat may weaken, which may directly benefit Kailash Vijayvargiya.
