Major election issues
MLA Vitthal Shankar Awasthi has been winning for the last three times and BJP’s board has been continuously formed in the Municipal Council also. But if we look at the ground reality, Bhilwara is far behind in basic facilities. While the common people are troubled by the roads here, it also becomes difficult to go out on the roads due to waterlogging during the rains and somewhere there is a lot of anger among the common people regarding this. The public representatives are also aware of these issues but instead of solving the problems, they are blaming each other and blaming the Municipal Council and UIT.

Bhilwara assembly is the stronghold of BJP
Although Bhilwara assembly is considered to be the stronghold of BJP, but due to lack of strong claim in Congress, Congress seems to be lagging far behind in its claims of victory here. There is a glimpse of internal discord in both the parties, BJP and Congress, but due to Brahmin and Vaishya dominance, BJP’s dominance here is seen to a great extent.

What is the mood of the public?
MLA Vitthal Shankar Awasthi had won from here for the third time. Due to which the public had a lot of expectations from them but due to the problems of roads, electricity and water as well as the traffic system, there is a lot of resentment among the public. The main demand of the city was for a railway over bridge to ease the traffic, but till date it has not been built and the poor condition of the roads is also hurting the hearts of the people.
