Ashok Gehlot filed nomination
Preparations for the assembly elections to be held in Rajasthan have been completed. Yesterday was the last day of nomination for 200 assembly seats in the state. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot filed his nomination on Monday. CM Gehlot is contesting from Sardarpura assembly seat of Jodhpur. Sardarpura assembly seat is the traditional seat of the CM.
During this period, the assets of CM Ashok Gehlot have also been revealed. Giving information in the affidavit given to the Election Commission during nomination, CM Gehlot said that he has movable assets worth Rs 1.95 crore, which includes Rs 1.93 crore deposited in bank accounts. According to the affidavit, Gehlot has Rs 20,000 in cash, while his wife has Rs 10,000 in cash.

CM Gehlot has 8.32 crore immovable assets
According to this, the annual income of CM Ashok Gehlot in the financial year 2022-23 was Rs 25,74,800, whereas in 2018-19 his annual income was Rs 20,88,910. CM Gehlot’s sources of income include his salary, interest on bank deposits and house rent. According to Gehlot’s nomination papers, his immovable property is worth Rs 8.32 crore.
1579 candidates filed nomination on the last day
On the last day of nomination, 1579 candidates including CM Ashok Gehlot filed their nomination papers. These include the names of Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shanti Dhariwal, Minority Minister Shale Mohammed, Osian MLA Divya Maderna along with Colonel Sonaram Chaudhary, Sports Minister Ashok Chandna. Along with nominations, all the candidates also claimed their respective victories.

On the last day of nomination, many prominent leaders of BJP also filed their nomination. In which the names of former MLA Prahlad Gunjal, Professor Mahendra Singh Rathore, Girraj Malinga and Upen Yadav are also included. Apart from this, leaders who rebelled against both the parties also filed independent nomination papers.
Voting will be held for 200 seats on November 25.
It is noteworthy that voting will be held in the state on November 25. The counting of votes will take place on 3rd December and the results will also be released on 3rd December only. This time in Rajasthan, 5 crore 26 lakh 80 thousand 545 voters are going to use their votes. There is a direct contest between Congress and BJP in the state. Both the parties are trying hard to conquer Rajasthan.
