Morena. A very heartbreaking case has come to light from Morena district of Madhya Pradesh. Here a young man committed suicide by killing himself. The case pertains to the old Celltax barrier in the Civil Lines police station area, where Shanki alias Yatendra son of Jai Bharat Transport, Ramnaresh Sikarwar, 23 years old resident of New Housing Board Colony, committed suicide by shooting himself with a pistol at around ten o’clock on Saturday night.
After reaching the spot, the police handed over the dead body to the family after doing PM. For investigation, senior police officers including FSL team Morena reached the spot to inspect. At the same time, the society and family gathered at the Civil Line police station and demanded an FIR.
Case registered against retired DSP and his wife
Police have registered a case of abetment to suicide against retired DSP Mahendra Sharma, his wife Mamta Sharma. According to the information received, Ramnaresh Sikarwar, the father of the deceased, has reported that the accused were demanding Rs 20 lakh and were threatening that if the money was not given, he would be implicated in a false case, due to which he committed suicide.
Morena CSP Atul Singh has told that the deceased has accused retired DSP Mahendra Sharma and his wife Mamta Sharma of blackmailing in the suicide note. Based on this, a case has been registered against both of them for abetment to suicide in the Civil Lines police station. Along with this, the matter is being investigated that after which the further action will be taken on the basis of whatever facts will come to the fore.
