Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Tejashwi Yadav
Today i.e. Monday is a big day for the politics of Bihar. The NDA government has to prove its majority in the floor test being held in the Assembly to form the government in Bihar. But before the floor test, Lalu Yadav’s party RJD has suffered a setback. Three RJD MLAs Chetan Anand, Prahlad Yadav and Neelam Devi have betrayed Tejashwi Yadav at the last moment. All three MLAs were seen sitting on the side of the ruling party. Three MLAs have a good identity in the politics of Bihar.
63 year old Prahlad Yadav started politics in 1980 with the communist movement. He has also served as the President of RJD, currently he is the MLA of Rashtriya Janata Dal from Lakhisarai. Prahlad Yadav was elected MLA for the first time in 1995 and is considered close to Lalu Yadav.
Neelam Yadav is the wife of Bahubali leader Anant Singh of Bihar. He was elected MLA in the 2022 by-election after Anant Kumar Singh was disqualified for being an MLA. Devi had contested the elections on the symbol of Rashtriya Janata Dal. Earlier in 2019, Neelam Devi had also contested elections from Munger Lok Sabha constituency representing Congress.
