A Western Disturbance will affect North-West Himalayas on January 16 and 17 and another Western Disturbance will affect Northwest India from January 18 to 20. Due to the activation of a new disturbance, Delhi-NCR may receive rain next week. In fact, due to the activity of a new Western Disturbance, light rain is expected in Delhi-NCR on 18 and 19.

The Meteorological Department says that light/moderate rain is likely over Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, Sikkim, Telangana and Coastal Andhra Pradesh today. Also, light to moderate rain may occur over Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh. Isolated rain is very likely over Arunachal Pradesh and over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura till January 15.

According to the Meteorological Department, isolated light rain/thundershowers over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala and Mahe during the next five days under the influence of a cyclonic circulation over southwest Bay of Bengal and lower troposphere level over South Tamil Nadu There will be showers.
