Chinta Sharma says that, I never thought that my products would be sold in this manner and that my products would ever be sold in such a big showroom. Lots of sales, record broken
Manoj Kumar, Chairman of Khadi Village Industries, says that for the first time on the day of Gandhi Jayanti, it happened that a sale of Rs 1.5 crore was made in a single day and that too from just one shop which is in Connaught Place, Delhi. Along with this, he also says that Modi has greatly appreciated the brand made of Khadi and what happened is that the craze for Khadi increased tremendously among the people. And this is the reason why a large number of customers are coming and buying Khadi.

The magic of Khadi worked in G20 also
Coming from small and big villages of the country, now Khadi is being appreciated and liked by the people in foreign countries also. Some time ago, the G20 meeting was completed where Khadi Village Industry had also set up a stall during the exhibition. On this, Manoj Kumar says that, many foreign guests showed great interest in Khadi in this exhibition. Gandhiji always supported Khadi, which Narendra Modi took the responsibility of taking forward and made the people making it economically stronger.
Sales of Khadi products increased by 332 percent
If we talk about points like production, sale and employment generation of Khadi and village industries products, there has been an increase of about 268 percent in the manufacturing of Khadi in these nine years. The sales of Khadi products have increased by 332 percent. There has been an increase of 260 percent in Khadi clothing products. There has been an increase of 450 percent in the sale of Khadi clothes. Apart from this, 9.54 lakh new jobs were created in the fiscal year 2022-23.
