New Delhi: An audio of Imran Masood, a strong leader of Saharanpur West UP, has surfaced, in which he is seen telling his supporters that Muslims should unite. Because of you, I got hold of my feet. Made my dog. If you become one, he will hold my feet and give the ticket himself.
He had joined SP after leaving Congress 7 days ago i.e. on January 11, but now talks are not being made about his ticket with SP. In such a situation, the discussion has started that he can join BSP.
This video of Imran Masood is being told two-three days ago of his residence in the cloud cover. It is seen in the video that the supporters have surrounded Imran Masood. Imran was asking his supporters about the ticket, when his pain came out after spreading.
In the two seats where Masood wanted the ticket, the SP declared the candidates.
It is being told that Imran Masood had sought ticket from SP from Saharanupar Dehat and Behat seats. However, SP has fielded its candidates in both the seats. Polling is to be held here in the second phase on February 14. From Saharanpur countryside, Imran wanted to field Masood Akhtar, the sitting MLA there. Masood Akhtar also left the Congress along with Imran and joined the SP. Secondly, he wanted his son-in-law Shayan Masood to contest the elections. But SP has given ticket to Anusar Malik from Saharnupar Dehat seat and Umar Ali Khan from Behat.
Now that Imran Masood has not got ticket from SP, then the discussions of him going to BSP have intensified. It is being told that he has asked for three seats from BSP. If all goes well then it is possible that Imran can ride an elephant.
Imran Masood is a big leader of West UP politics. He has contested the 2007 Vidhan Sabha, 2014 Lok Sabha and 2019 Lok Sabha elections. However, he had to face defeat every time except in 2007. In 2007, he was elected MLA for the first and last time from Muzaffarabad (currently Behat) seat as an independent candidate.
