A case that puts relationships to shame has come to light in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh. Here the own son along with his brother-in-law has murdered the father. The accused son has committed this crime for the sake of property. After the incident, the accused hid the body of the middle-aged man inside the bushes in the forest and fled away. The police reached the spot the next day after receiving information about the dead body, got it identified and arrested the accused son and son-in-law, connecting the links of the incident. The police is investigating the entire matter. The matter is of Mahimapur village in Gauriganj police station area of the district.
According to the police, Shivshankar Pandey, resident of this village, was an orderly in the office of the Upazila Officer in Gauriganj tehsil. There was some dispute going on with his son regarding property. It is alleged that he neither wanted to give land nor money to his son. Due to this matter, disputes and quarrels were taking place in his house every day. Meanwhile, Shivshankar Pandey decided to sell his land. In this regard, he had also made an agreement with someone from the village.

It is being told that along with his salary, Shivshankar Pandey had also taken some loan from KCC. There was a clash between the two fathers and sons regarding this matter. To get out of the daily disputes, the accused son sat down with a distant brother-in-law and planned to remove his father from the way. After this both of them started doing recce of Shivshankar Pandey. Meanwhile, on December 31, when Shivshankar Pandey was returning home from the tehsil, the accused surrounded him at a deserted place near Bhagmati Canal in the forest.

During police interrogation, the accused told that he became unconscious as soon as a rod hit his head and then both of them strangled him with the same rod. After this, the accused dumped the body in the bushes near Tala Khajuri railway crossing in Amethi police station area and fled from the spot. Additional SP Harendra Singh said that the next day the local people informed the police about the dead body. On receiving this information, the police reached the spot and while investigating, arrested both the accused. He told that both the accused have been produced in the court and sent to jail.
