Superintendent of Police Neeraj Jadaun said on Thursday that Anuradha (49) and her younger daughter Preeti (17), who were poisoned during police raids in Bachhod village of Chhaprauli police station area on Tuesday, were also treated in Meerut hospital late on Wednesday night. Death took place. Anuradha’s eldest daughter Swati (19) also died during treatment early Wednesday.
Jadoun said that on the basis of the family’s Tahrir, a case of harassment and abetment to suicide has been registered against six people, including Inspector Naresh Pal of Chhaprauli police station, and his investigation has been handed over to the crime branch.
It is known that on May 3, a villager of Chhaprauli village had given a complaint to the police that a young man named Prince of the village had fled with his daughter. In this case, the police was continuously raiding the boy’s house.
On Tuesday evening, the police had received information from the plaintiff that the accused and the girl were at home in the village itself. On this information, the police went to raid late in the evening. Meanwhile, Anuradha, the mother of the accused youth present in the house and two sisters had consumed sulfas and rat-killer medicine.
The police first admitted him to a nearby hospital, from there he was referred to Subharti Hospital in Meerut.
According to the SP, it is not yet known why the mother and two sisters of the accused youth consumed poison. He told that according to the information received so far, the mother of the accused and both the sisters were afraid that if the accused was not caught, the police might take them into custody.
According to the SP, the people of the village were also present during the police raid. He claims that during this time the police did not do any indecent behavior with the relatives of the accused.
It is to be known that this is the fourth incident in the month of May, in which three women have lost their lives during the raid by the Uttar Pradesh Police.

Four sons of the deceased Radha Devi had gone to jail last month for assaulting their relatives and came out of jail on the evening of May 7. The police squad had gone to interrogate him when the incident happened.
Earlier on May 1, a young woman was killed under suspicious circumstances during a police raid in Sayedaraja area of Chandauli district in Uttar Pradesh. In this case, a case of culpable homicide was registered against six policemen including the suspended SHO.
In Manrajpur village of Sayedaraja police station area, a police team reached the house of a sand trader Kanhaiya Yadav to nab him. A non-bailable warrant was issued against Yadav.
The victim’s family alleges that during this time a policeman raped the businessman’s 24-year-old daughter and died due to assault and coercion.
